| One of the most common requests we get here at Italian Charms Resource is for more
information on where to get the Chinese made charms. I guess it’s pretty obvious that not
every customer wants to buy their 7 year old daughter charms that retail for $15 to $20.
Chinese made “Italian style” charms are everywhere now, but a lot of them are private
labeled by the big retail chains that go directly to China and import themselves. For
the small gift store owner, you may want to check out the companies listed here.
Global Connections

Terry Mao of Global Connections said that they have been in business since 1988 and now
distribute over 6000 charms as well as watches, necklaces, key chains, and bracelets. Charms
are stocked at their warehouse in Galt and can be shipped immediately. The charms are made in China.
Terry did state that some of the charms are hot soldered, some are cold soldered, and some are
glued so there is probably a slight variance in the quality. Still, they meet a price point and
allow more people to get into the fun of collecting charms.
ChiChiPicks
1630 N. Main Street
Walnut Creek, CA 94596

I’ve never been a big fan of sites that are selling something and don’t have a phone number where
you can reach them, but ChiChiPicks does offer some real low pricing on Italian style charms.
In fact, if you can buy more that $1,500 worth, they claim to be able to offer pricing of less
than 50 cents a charm.
